I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed, intimidated, and unsure where to start. After losing 100 pounds naturally, I wanted to help others realize they can do it too.
Not at all. In fact I am still considered "Plus Sized" when set next to your regular fitness standards. My journey began at nearly 300lbs. Everything I teach comes from both professional education and personal experience
Because I remember what it felt like to believe I didn't belong in fitness spaces. My goal is to help people see themselves differently and realize they're capable of more than they think.

Hi yall, I'm Emily.
I'm originally from Texas, but today Henderson, Nevada, is home. After a few years of being a military spouse, life took me from Texas to California, and eventually led me to a new chapter here in Henderson. My oldest son has since graduated high school and is proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps, and I'm now raising my two youngest children while continuing to build the life and career I've always dreamed of.
This chapter has been one of change, healing, and new beginnings. While my family looks different today than it once did, one thing has remained constant: my passion for helping others discover just how strong they truly are.
For a long time, I struggled with my weight, my confidence, and believing I was capable of becoming the person I wanted to be. At nearly 300 pounds, I knew I had two choices: accept the life I was living or fight for the life I wanted. I chose to fight.
It wasn't a quick transformation. It was years of falling down, getting back up, learning, growing, and choosing consistency over perfection. Along the way, I didn't just change my body—I changed my mindset. That journey became the foundation for everything that followed.
When my family was stationed in California, Curvy Girl Fitness wasn't part of some grand business plan. It actually happened by accident.
At the time, I was simply looking for accountability to help me stay committed to my own health journey. I made a post in a Facebook group for military spouses asking if anyone wanted to work out together.
One woman showed up.
The next workout, she brought a friend. Then that friend invited another friend. Before I knew it, strangers became workout partners, workout partners became friends, and those friends became a community. What started with a few women exercising together in my driveway grew into something I never could have imagined: Curvy Girl Fitness.
It became so much more than workouts. It became a place where women encouraged one another, celebrated victories big and small, found confidence, and realized they were capable of far more than they believed.
Curvy Girl Fitness didn't just change the lives of the women who showed up—it changed mine, too.
When our family moved to another duty station, Curvy Girl Fitness came with me. The community continued to grow, and so did I. What started as a simple search for accountability became a career I never saw coming. I earned my certifications, stepped into gyms as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and discovered a purpose I never knew I was searching for.
Here in Henderson, I've had the incredible opportunity to continue building that dream. I've found a home in local gyms and have been blessed to coach amazing clients and teach classes filled with people who inspire me just as much as I hope to inspire them.
Leaving Curvy Girl Fitness behind wasn't an easy decision. It will always be where my story began. But over the years, my life has changed. My family has changed. Most importantly, I have changed.
I realized I wasn't simply creating a new business—I was stepping into a new chapter of my life. I wanted a name that reflected not only my own journey but every person I've been fortunate enough to meet along the way.
That's how Any Body Fitness was born.
To me, it isn't just a new name. It's a rebirth. A fresh start for my family, my career, and a dream that has grown far beyond anything I imagined when one woman showed up to work out in my driveway.
The message is simple: fitness doesn't belong to one body type. It doesn't care about your age, your size, your experience, or where you're starting. Every body deserves to feel strong. Every body deserves confidence. Every body deserves the chance to discover what they're truly capable of.
Helping people find that strength—in the gym and within themselves—is more than my career. It's my purpose. If my story helps even one person believe they're capable of changing their own, then every setback, every lesson, and every step of this journey has been worth it.
I'm so grateful you're here, and I can't wait to be a small part of your story, just as so many incredible people have become part of mine.
Eat your protein. Drink your water. Be a good human.
